Chris Edser, Scott Heinrich and Yianni Hill, will be presenting The Australia Project at the AGIdeas 2010 International Design Week in Melbourne, 27-29 April 2010. Here’s a short description of the project we will be presenting:
The Australia Project is a series of creative initiatives dedicated to exploring the national Australian identity. Our main objective is to explore and redefine clichéd national stereotypes through arts-based projects, in the hope of revealing a unique perspective on contemporary Australian culture.

The inaugural exhibition for The Australia Project will be held at C3 Artspace in Melbourne, 28th April – 16th May 2010. We are very excited to begin curating the exhibition, and are hoping that collectively the work and ideas generated will begin to identify and redefine the national Australian identity. If you would like to submit an entry into The Australia Project, please have a read of the brief, and then contact Chris, Scott and Yianni to register your intentions. Creative submissions are due 15 March 2010.
